Obituary of Arpad PUSKAS

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arpad Puskas. He was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the age of 84 years.

Arpad was born in Ormosbánya, Hungary on October 7, 1935. He immigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in Calgary with his wife in 1968. Arpad worked as a machinist for CP Rail for thirty years until his retirement. 

Arpad will be remembered for his hard work ethic, his love and devotion to his family and for the simple blessing life offers. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt with his beautiful wife Helen by his side.  He was kind-hearted, sincere man with a great sense of humour. He was a loved and respected and will be truly missed by many.

Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his loving wife of sixty-two years, Helen; his devoted sons, Leslie (Margaret) of Sylvan Lake, AB and Julius (Cheryle) of Calgary, AB; his precious grandchildren, Nicolette, Austin, Katherine, Justin, Stephanie and Devon; and his great-grandson Theodore.
