Condolences
On behalf of the Calgary Catholic School District our deepest condolences to all of Sister's family and friends. Losing her is like losing our history. I can only imagine the time she had being principal of the St. Mary's girls school in the 1960s. Our loss is Jesus' gain in heaven. May she rest in the peace of Christ. God Bless her soul.
I remember "Mother" Elizabeth from my high school days in from the late 50's to the early 60's. She was kind and fair. She led an honourable and worthy life and will surely be remembered fondly by many.
Joan (Oxendale) Barnet.
Sister Elizabeth was my principal at St. Mary's Girls' School in Calgary and I remember her fondly as a caring, fair and compassionate person. Also had a good sense of humor and could take a joke. Prayers and sympathies to her family and holy community.
Jane (Treanor) Oxenbury
Dear Sisters FCJ,
My deepest sympathy for you dear sisters, who will always miss Sr. Elizabeth as I will too.
She always was so hospitable and could share a story or 2 with her joyful personality.
With love and prayers to all who knew this wonderful person,
From Helen Beckie
