Condolences
Dear Bill and family:
Our sincere condolences to you all on the recent passing of your beloved wife Betty, mother and grandma.
We truly enjoyed Betty's company at family gatherings over the years before her health declined and she was no longer able to join us, but take comfort in the wonderful memories you have of her and the many years you were together. Betty bore her illness with graciousness, courage and showed such strength and now she is resting peacefully safe in the arms of the Lord. Her work is done.

Our deepest sympathy to Bill, Tom, Paul, and your families.
We remember Betty being an avid tennis player, (Joanne) seeing her at JB Tyrrell while Betty was working there, and the many years the Trowell family were great next door neighbours in Scarborough before moving to Calgary.
May memories of happy times with your wife/mother/grandmother bring you great comfort!

Back in my late teens, the Trowell family were my next door neighbours in Scarborough, ON. The most active family I can ever recall!! Betty was also our cafeteria lady in high school and I always remember her friendly face during lunch. If I timed it perfectly in the mornings, I would start the long trek to school just as Mrs. Trowell was also leaving and she would always graciously give me a lift. Which was glorious to a teenager who would then have extra time to hang with her friends. Fast forward 10-12 years and I would once again cross paths with the Trowell family when I moved to Calgary and my friend, Elaine, became in-laws with them. What a stroke of luck that was and I enjoyed seeing them several times over the years. I was very sorry to hear of Betty’s passing, but what a rich, long, active and fulfilling life she had. My condolences to all of the Trowells and their family and friends. Fondly, Diana (Dee) Clair

We are very sad to hear of the death of Aunt Betty. I have fond memories of Aunt Betty and Uncle Bill and the boys coming to my Mom and Dad's for dinner very many years ago now. Our condolences to Uncle Bill and Tom and Paul and their families.
