Obituary of Lorena (Mumitt) Adeline MARK

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, auntie, cousin, and niece. Lorena (Mumitt) Mark, was called home by our Creator on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the age of 52 years.

My mom was a loving caring woman. She lived in Calgary where she made a lot of friends and where she spent most of her adult life. Lorena enjoyed buying things for her family and friends.  My mom enjoyed holidays especially Thanksgiving.  She made many friends living in Calgary (Forest Lawn), at the Alpha House, CUPS, Elizabeth Fry, and the drop in centre. She would always call staff member at the Alpha House, Avril, and ask her to save her a plate for her and she would come in and sit with them and have Thanksgiving dinner with them. I am grateful for the friends my mom had.

Lorena is survived by her father, Richard Kaquitts, daughters, Adeline (Shawn), Tanya, Robin, Desmond; son Dwayne, six grandchildren, as well as her aunties, uncles, and cousins from the Mark, Bearspaw, Daniels, and Lefthand families. We apologize if we have missed anyone.

Lorena was predeceased by her mother Joyce Mark, her grandmother Gladys Bearspaw, a sister Debbie Mark, a brother Marvin (Tex) Mark.
