Obituary of Ina Mavis GULLACHER

December 30, 1926 – Naicam, Saskatchewan
October 10, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Our Angel was called home on Saturday, October 10, 2020. She will be missed more than words can say.

Ina started painting in her 80's and made beautiful watercolor paintings she shared with her children.  She was a true friend to many and a great listener. After raising five children she became a nurse at the age of forty-one and worked at the Calgary General Hospital for thirty years, always voted the kindest nurse on her floor. 

Ina was the best, most loving, beautiful mom to five children, Earl, Brenda, Mitchell, Christine and Ingrid; best grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and great-grandmother to sixteen great-grandchildren. Ina loved life, travelling the world, dancing, shopping (a lot), cooking for family dinners, baking for everyone, sunshine and swimming in the Caribbean Sea. She always presented herself with class and elegance and was loved by many.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service and Reception to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
