Condolences
We, Arya's grandparents, have so many wonderful memories of our time spent with Arya. We would like to share the most recent time we visited with you in Calgary. It was November 2019 we were settling in for the winter in a bungalow on the west coast of Mexico. I received an email from Petra inviting us to come visit now. We didn't hesitate. We booked a flight and stayed for a month celebrating Arya's 6th birthday and family Christmas. We said goodbye with a ticket in hand to return in April. covid changed that flight and little did we know that memorable December visit would be our last time spent with Arya. We are thankful for that time and the memories we have with photos to share.

We are so saddened for your great loss. May you find comfort in her wonderful memories. Sending strength prayers at this difficult time. Our deepest condolences Brenda,Rocky and family.
I've been trying to sit down and write but the second I type, I just start crying and have to walk away. There is a memory that keeps coming back to me that I'll like to share. I went on a road trip with Petra, Jake, Aeo, Zeph and Arya (and Azzy). At one of the campsites we were by a big lake. It was going to be my first time swimming in a Canadian lake, so I was excited. I remember Arya couldn't wait either. While Petra, Aeo, Zeph and I were swimming by the shore, Arya had managed to make it to the middle of the lake by herself. I swam to get her back and when I caught up with her, she had the biggest smile. She wasn't scared to be far away from us. She just wanted to float there and enjoy the summer sun. We swam back to play with her brothers laughing and making jokes. I have so many memories, I was lucky we spent a lot of time together, but that one is one of my favorites. "Do you know what? What? I love you!"
Our time spent with Arya was short yet she brought so much happiness. Her cousin Emelyn was so excited to create memories together from Ripleys aquarium, New Years at Turkey Point, rides at Wonderland, giggling in the car when the monkeys climbed all over at African Lion safari and swimming at Cedar Beach! Arya inspired Emy to always be brave and confident. Emy climbed the 40ft rock climbing wall by saying “Arya could do this, so I can too”. We are forever thankful for the time she shared with us & will love her always Aunt Lara & Family
My son Jace came home from school last week and told me about Arya. He told me she had cancer and that they were in the same class together. He told me it is very sad that she had cancer but she was a nice girl. They both shared December birthdays. My heart and Jace's go out to the family of Arya. Taken way too soon.
I had the fortune of being Arya's au pair and since day one I was surprised by her energy and her constant laugh. She always wanted to be as active as her brothers and I remember how much she loved to go to Beavers. She also loved to go to the library, I think she liked story time, but what she liked the most was to visit Petra there. She really loved her momma and her dad too, specially when he shared hot chocolate. Arya was an amazing gift to this world, she gave us so much and for that we will forever love her and miss her. I send all my love to Jake, Petra and family.

My son Tidus, went to school with Arya. When he told me about her passing, he remarked that he fell down on the pavement one day and she came to him to help him up. She showed him compassion and caring, he remembered it so vividly after so much time had passed. Our families thoughts are with you in this challenging time.
Kaitlyn and Arya loved playing together at the playground whenever they had the chance and at school. It was cute how Arya would hold Kaitlyn's hand as they went down the slide together. Kait always asked about making playdates with Arya she loved her.
Arya was 11 months old when I first met her at the beach in Paamul, Mexico. Her big beautiful eyes were full of wonderment and joy, ready to explore the world.
Arya, you will forever be loved and your sweetness forever remembered,
Our love and sympathy to Petra, Jake and Family

I remember when I first met Arya. My niece won a Family gathering.
I met Arya and her brothers and her dad Jake. What a wonderful Family I thought. We had a great time with all the Family there. Arya, the boys and I had a great time goofing around the hall.
Arya is a wonderful Angel now and we will miss her dearly. Perta and Jake you will never forget her at all because I didn't forget my Family members. We send our Prayers and Love to you and Jake and Family.
Love Aunt Betty and Family.
