Obituary of Dwain Edward ORR

February 9, 1966 – Orangeville, Ontario
October 8, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Dwain Edward Orr at the young age of 54 years. Dwain passed away peacefully holding Bonnie’s hand on October 8 2020.

Dwain touched many lives and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Dwain was a firm believer in giving back to the community, dedicating twenty-seven years of service to Child Find Canada, Child Find Alberta and then sitting on the board of directors as vice president of Child Find Saskatchewan. 

Dwain will be missed by his partner Bonnie Elliott (Mattock); his sons, Jordin (Breanna Makeil), Joshua, William and Nicholas, his father Robert Orr (Evelyn Pell), his brother Jeff Orr; Bonnie’s parents, Cal and Judy Mattock as well as many other family members. Dwain has now joined his mother Denise Mae Bryant in heaven.

The family would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff at South Calgary Hospital and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
