Obituary of Beverly ORMOND

July 25, 1957– Etobicoke, Ontario
October 15, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Beverly Ormond, beloved wife of David W. Ormond of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the age of 63 years.

Beverly was born in Etobicoke, ON on July 25, 1957, the first of two children born to Marlene and Ronald Reynolds. Beverly was predeceased by her father Ronald Reynolds. Beverly enjoyed growing up with her brother Don and parents Marlene and Walt.  

Beverly went to Capernwray Bible School in Julian, CA in September 1975 where she met her future husband. She married Trace Schlung December 4, 1976, whom she had three children with. Later in life, Beverly returned to Calgary with her children and married David W. Ormond April 20, 1996.

Beverly and David were very active members in Southview Alliance Church and made many dear friends over the years. Beverly was a shining light who touched all who knew her and made everyone feel at home with her kindness.

She will always be lovingly remembered by her husband David W. Ormond. Beverly is survived by her daughter Emilee (Kevin) Wilson of Calgary, AB; and her two sons, Ben (Amber) Schlung and Jared Schlung of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by her two stepdaughters, Kelly (Rob) Kotello and Michelle (Carey) Roberts both of Calgary. She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Zoe, Quinn, Vincent, Kalianna, Kayleigh, Brooklyn, Victoria, Anthony, Cole, Cameron and Paige; her parents Marlene and Walt Kelm and her brother Donald (Patti) Kelm. 

A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held at Southview Alliance Church (20200 Walden Boulevard SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Beverly’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
