Obituary of Doris Kathleen LONG (nee Brawley)

Doris Long, beloved wife of Leroy Long, of DeWinton, AB, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the age of 82 years.

Doris was a self taught accountant with a brilliant mind for business. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, dogs, horses and going south for the winter. Doris was instrumental in the establishment of the Tennessee Walking Horse Association of Western Canada.

Besides her loving husband, Doris is survived by her children, Janice, Laura, and David Long; five grandchildren; and her sister Peggy Tait. Doris was predeceased by her father John Brawley and her mother Molly Brawley (nee Kendall).
