Fabian MacIver of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 25 years.

Fabian was born in Calgary, AB on November 14, 1994. He was naturally gifted and talented. It was so easy for him to pick up any instrument and just figure it out. He had a real knack for cooking and spent a lot of time (and money) experiencing different cuisines. He was bright and very clever, always discussing topics with so much maturity beyond his years. To be around Fabian was to feel his kindness radiating from him. His eyes were piercing and always playful. You felt that he was really seeing you. Anyone who was loved by Fabian should feel honoured that such a unique, beautiful, and good-hearted person felt that way about them. He was a gift.

He will be most remembered for his friendly and accepting nature with a dash of fiery Chilean passion!

Fabian is survived by his sisters, Shyla (partner Mitchell) and Olivia of Calgary, AB and brother  Damian of Middleton, Nova Scotia; as well as nephews, Koda and Zane; and cousins, Chris, Jenn, Jason, Alicja, Antonio, Jazmyn, Bianca, and Essence.  Fabian was predeceased by his beloved Tata Rolando Gutierrez, who no doubt is with him now.
