Condolences
Thoughts are with Ralph and the rest of the Green family on the loss of Doreen. Along with her husband Ralph, they showed warmth and compassion with a sense of humor. I have many wonderful memories of their support over a span of 40+years. They welcomed me into their home on many occasions and I will forever br grateful for their kindness. I know of other friends whom I have spoken with who have similar memories. Doreen will be in our hearts always. Gwen Gleason-Graham, Saskatoon, Sk.
Many happy occasions with the Green Family as we worked in the Bowness Community, and a holiday to Disney Land with the family. We will miss Doreen and our sympathies to Ralph and Lauralee. Marg (Gowing) & Don Weber
A big part of our family was lost earlier this week; our monarch, my beloved Gram.
I can still hear her voice in my head telling me, "you look sharp!"
As a child, I can recall road trips into Calgary for sleepovers at Gramps and Grandmas house, where we would rent movies at the store down the road, and I am sure I saw, "The Last Unicorn,"( on VHS) for the first time at "the Green house" in Bowness.
Oh, the nostalgia!
So dearly will I miss our many lunch (or "dinner," as she would say) dates with Gram, Grandpa, and Cassie at the Century Downs Casino & Race Track, where we would watch the horse races go by, and we'd almost always share a yummy dessert. Speaking of yummy, I know we all appreciated Grandma's epic potato salad too.
You were classy, you were sassy, and you meant so much to me, and to us all.
I know you're smiling down at us now from your "chesterfield" in the sky.
I love you forever & I'll miss you so much.
Bye, bye my "Grandma Green".
