Condolences
Sad hear of Len’s passing. He had the busiest little store in Gravelbourg and the biggest smile.

Thank you to all who have posted here or simply read the obituary and these condolences. You all enriched Dad's life in some way and I know he would greatly appreciate your compassion, your comments and stories, just as the rest of us do. Best to all of you.
Leonard lived in our house when I was s teenager as a border, he teased me, joked, cut my hair and we visited with him and Anne after Louise and I were married, an extraordinary man, we loved him dearly. Our condolences to Anne and family. Noel and

It's with great sadness that I write this message. I first met Leonard Brin in the fall of 1964, when I was a high school student. I walked into a local barber shop in Gravelbourg, Sask. and Leonard had set up a chair. He would later on start his own business in that same town. I got haircuts from Leonard right up until 2017 when he moved to Alberta. .
After 2000, my home was just a stone's throw from his barber shop, thus every day I would stop by to say hello and swap stories with Len and his many customers, some who drove several miles for a haircut at Len's Barber Shop. He was storyteller like few people that I have ever met. I was a farmer, and also wrote in local newspapers for many years. Len was my informal critic who would often make suggestions as to what I should, or should not write in the paper.
My deepest sympathies to Anne, Darrel, Noreen and Roxanne, and all of Len's extended family and close friends. You'll be missed by all.
Sincerely yours.

Leonard always had a wonderful “ Good Morning ladies”..when he came to get his mail ... a wonderful smile that will never be forgotten ....Such a kind man ...My condolences to Anne and family .
My heartfelt condolences to Anne and family. I loved Len's sense of humor, his smile and his love for Anne and his family. You will be truly missed.
We’ve spoken of Len often. One of the many times I was there as a kid I was bored and decided to sweep the hair.. under the rubber mat! He laughed and said dad must have taught me that, and proceeded to give me a sucker! He cut 5 generation of Gosselin men’s hair. That can’t happen often. Our condolences to the family. He was a gem.
Our condolences to Ann and family!! Richard visited Leonard’s shop frequently until he married a hairdresser but he missed the “manly” place to catch up on the town news. And when that news came in French, Leonard was quick to translate it to Richard! Think of him often when we drive by the barber shop now on main St.
Such a gentle and kind man. He will be missed. When Anne babysat our baby Nicole, Len was always there to help her out. Thinking of you so much at this sad time. Diane Dauphinais & Family.
Our sincere condolences to Anne and family. May all your good memories of sweet times spent together help through this time of sadness. He was such a soft spoken pleasant man. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know him! You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely Doug & Monique Mann
My family had the privilege of living next door to the barbershop. My grandparents were among the many that would drop in to the shop not only for haircuts, but for the pleasure of his company. Mr. Brin spread kindness daily and made Gravelbourg a better place. Four generations of my family were fortunate enough to have “Mr. Brin’s Barber Shop” experience. Condolences to all of Mr. Brin’s family and friends. Rhonda Gingell and family
