Obituary of Barbara WEDLEY

Barbara Wedley of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the age of 97 years.

Barbara was born in Winnipeg, MB on June 8, 1923. She married her husband, Frank in 1944 while he was on a leave from his service in the Navy during WWII.

Barbara’s most memorable time in her life was when she and her husband lived in Banff, AB between 1953 and 1961.

Barbara is survived by her son Doug (Lorraine), daughters, Susan and Marilyn (Irvin); daughter-in-law Lynn Wedley, all of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, brother John (Rita) Carne of Burlington, ON, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1979, son Bruce in 2016 and her brothers, Gerald, Ted and Bill.
