From Sherry (Garrson) and Marvin Taylor
We always enjoyed chatting with Betty at the Bowness Historic Society meetings or at the brunches and teas and craft sales at the Bowness Seniors Centre. We will miss her. Marg (Gowing) and Don Weber
I DELIVERED MEALS ON WHEELS TO JULIA FOR MANY YEARS. WHAT A TREASURE SHE WAS! SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE FOR ME AND SHARED INFORMATION ABOUT HER FAMILY. SHE WAS VERY PROUD OF HER FAMILY. WHEN I ASKED HER HOW HER DAY WAS SHE SOMETIMES CONFESSED THAT SHE WAS FEELING A LITTLE WIGGLY THAT DAY.
SHE ALWAYS KNEW HOW TO BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE. SHE ALWAYS WANTED TO ANSWER THE DOOR
HERSELFSO SHE COULD CONNECT WITH US.
MY SINCERE SYMPATHY ON THE LOSS OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIEND

That is a wonderful collection of Aunt Betty memoirs Bob put together into You tube. The descriptive stories Aunt Betty told of the years meeting Uncle Doug and coming to Canada shows how sharp a memory she still had into her nineties. I truly miss the regular conversations we had over the phone.
To Bob,Rose and family. Wow! What a life well lived. You guys are a tribute to her strength and joy of life. Sad to say goodbye but joy in celebration.
Pamela and Bruce Rodger
Thanks to our brother Bob who created Mom’s YouTube channel. He captured Mom telling part of her life story in her own words. Here are some of the links. Be sure to check them all out on YouTube by searching Julia Betina Everett. Thanks again Bob. These are a treasures.
