Condolences
Joan and I just learned of the passing of our much loved cousin. We shared many great times with Gordon and Jane first in Toronto then Calgary I'm sure that Doug and Susan remember the old guy making a spooky appearance one Halloween many many years ago. I loved time with Jane, always called it as she saw it. We will miss her.
Jane and I were friends in Middle School, 5-7 grades. Then my family moved to Poughkeepsie, NY, only to return 3 years later. Because I had skipped a grade while we were away, I was now in 10th grade, putting me in Senior High. Jane and my other friends were still in Jr High. My memories of our good times with Mary Jane Mahler and others are wonderful, especially our giggling about the boys following us after the Saturday afternoon movie in Scarsdale, NY down to the Bronx River Parkway. Unfortunately I lost track of these dear old friends, was appreciative of seeing her obit in our SHS Class Newsletter. It was interesting to read that she went into nursing as did I. What a wonderful career for us both.
Please accept my condolences for the loss of your mom. Wish we could have known each other in later years.

Dear Kelly family,
We were deeply saddened by news of Jane. She was our very special friend and we will all miss her bright smile and her laugh. May the memories you carry with you bring you comfort in the days ahead. With heartfelt sympathy. Jane's table mates from Garrison Green, Ron, Nigel, Richard and Lynn. She had many friends here and they all share in our thoughts and prayers.
Condolences to Jane's family. As her accountant, I always looked forward to seeing her each year. She was "an original"....it was very true that she was never shy to share her views. Will miss her and her good humor.
Regards,
David Townsend
I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. She was a fantastic friend and great person. We worked together for a number of years in Calgary Health Finance. We kept our friendship over the many years until this virus stopped our seeing each other. When I asked for her advice she always told me the home truths/values she went by. I will really miss her as I am sure you both will.
