Obituary of Horace Arthur HOWARD

It is with great sadness the family of Art Howard announces his passing on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the age of 77 years.

Art was born in Jasper, AB, on February 28, 1943 and grew up in Winfield, AB. He spent most of his adult life living in Calgary. Art accomplished much throughout his life and loved being around family and friends. He enjoyed volunteering with the Kinsmen. He also loved music and dancing, first in his twenties at Dance Halls then later at the Legion. Art had a passion for vintage cars and his favorite pastimes were driving his corvette, motorbike, and his RV. He will be most remembered for his kindness shown toward others, especially family and friends.

Art is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Elizabeth of Calgary, AB, his daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Dave of Vancouver, BC; and his grandchildren, Meg and Jake of Vancouver, BC. Art is also survived by his sister-in-law, Donna in Leduc, AB, step-brother, Les Melin (Kate), step-sisters; Deb Stevens (Barry) Becca Goodrich (Clint); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Art was predeceased by his mother Marie, his father Red, his step-mother Patricia, his brother Richard and sister Betty (Glenn).
