Winnie Shanks, beloved wife of Ed Shanks, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the age of 80 years.
Winnie was born in Calgary, AB, on June 15, 1940.

Winnie married the love of her life, Ed Shanks on November 8, 1958. Winnie and Ed loved and raised their three children together in Calgary, AB. 

Winnie was kind-hearted, always maintained a strong belief in God, and loved her family more than anything in this world. She was always offering warm comforting words of wisdom and advice.  She had a wonderful sense of humour and had a way of talking with people that immediately put them at ease.  Winnie also loved animals, especially her beloved dog Benji. 

Besides her loving husband Ed, Winnie is survived by her daughter Karen, sons Tony and Wayne (Usheda), grandchildren, Amed and Zane, great-grandchild Joshua. 

Winnie was predeceased by her beloved grandchild Shane, her parents, Winnifred and Robert Small, and her brothers, Bob, David, and Willard.
