Obituary of Jacob Alexander BULLOCH

June 30, 2001 - Calgary Alberta

November 15, 2020 – Calgary Alberta

It is with immense sadness and overwhelming grief that we announce the passing of Jacob Alexander Bulloch on November 15, 2020 at the young age of 19 years.

He was born in Calgary, AB, on June 30, 2001 and resided in Airdrie most of his short life.

An adorable baby, Jacob was a precious gift to his family. He was very affectionate and loved to snuggle and cuddle. He was the “little light” of comfort to his family when his papa Garry was diagnosed with cancer.

Jacob admired his two older brothers and loved to spend time with them. Jesse and Levi enjoyed having a little brother to play with and tease.

Growing up he enjoyed playing video games, long boarding at the skate park or playing competitive soccer.

Jacob loved animals. He adored his pet cats, Sophie and Daisy and the family dog Lola. Sophie could often be found snuggling beneath his covers when he went to bed at night or wound around his neck like a warm fuzzy scarf!

He loved music, especially rap music. In quiet moments he liked to write his own rap lyrics. He admired his older brother Levi’s talent on the guitar, which fostered his own passion for playing the drums.

Jacob loved outdoor activities. He relished going out to the mountains snowmobiling with his dad and liked to push the limits. Jacob fished with intensity and never wanted to give up, “one more cast’ he would always say. In more recent years he was being mentored in the craft of hunting.

Jacob was fortunate to have travelled to many destinations with his mom, brothers, his dad and extended family and friends. He especially loved trips to the Caribbean where he could snorkel and swim in the ocean. He also rode on the back of his dad’s motorcycle all over Canada and the U.S.

He will be most remembered for his beautiful smile, honest spirit and generous heart.

Jacob will be lovingly missed by his mom, Cheryl Bulloch (Ross) of Airdrie; his dad, Daryl Bulloch (Debbie), of Cochrane; his two loving brothers, Jesse Ocean (Jacqueline) and niece Aurora of Darwin, Australia and Levi Bulloch (Rachel) of Airdrie; his grandparents Vi Binda (Jack) of Calgary, and Marlene Bulloch of Cochrane. His aunts and uncles; Tammy McRonald of Calgary, Lance McRonald of Calgary,  Lonnie McRonald (Tessie) of Delta, B.C. , Todd McRonald of Calgary, and Jill Samuel of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; as well as numerous cousins, great aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. Jacob was predeceased by his grandfather, “papa” Garry Bulloch in 2002.

Jacob will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.The overwhelming love and support that we have received as a family is profoundly appreciated.

We know our boy is free and is at peace.

A GoFundMe account https://gf.me/u/y83nzi has been set up on Jacob’s behalf. He dreamed of helping others and would be gratified to know the proceeds will be donated to help others suffering with mental health and/or addiction issues.
