Sorry to hear of " Rock's " passing.
An exceptional hockey player/star in his younger years and a big idol of mine.
Also many good stories of his accomplishments/success with the Calgary fire department.
He was part of the great " Kilroe family " as I was growing up in Inglewood..
My sincere condolences, he will be missed.
Kent Gillingwater.

Bob and Tom, so sad to hear about "Uncle Rocky". I learned a great deal about life and the job working with him for many years at the old #8.
The last weekend before the hall closed and was relocated to present site, he had the crew strip and wax the floor, like every other Saturday. He had to leave it clean for the next occupant. One of the pet peeves Rock had was no one in bed before 11:00. Try as we may, we took great pride in sneaking to bed even one minute before 11, but he would have nothing of it. Fiercely loyal when he was in your corner.
Rest easy Rock..
