Condolences
From the Yucytus family to the MacDonald family we send our sincerest condolences. I am going to miss my old goalkeeping beer drinking buddy as we go a long way back to the 49/50 Lethbridge Native Sons junior hockey days. Sincerely Jack.
I was saddened to hear about Jim’s death. I believe I met Jim and Shirley back in 1964 - 64 years ago. He was a generous spirit and an interesting man, who, by the way, was a great baseball player and coach. He was always fun to be around. My family’s sincere condolences go out to the Macdonald family.
Darryl Raymaker and family.
Dear Sharon and Carol. Bob and I were so sorry to hear of Jim passing. I so enjoyed his irreverent humor and dry wit. He had a hard time moving forward after your mother passed. In this time of Covid isolation it would have been a severe hardship to buoy his spirits. God bless your father. Bob and I have been married for 53 years and I couldn't imagine being alone. I always meant to visit. The road to hell is definitely paved with good intentions. Perhaps covid in its ugly way will allow us the time to truly see our families and enjoy them more intensely. We wish you and your families peace and comfort in the coming Christmas season and beyond.
It is with sincere sorrow that Bob and I offer our condolences on your fathers passing. Now is the time for remembering the good memories of growing up with your Mom and Dad.
God Bless you all,
-Bob and Trudy Hughes
Hello Carol, Sharon and all,
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad going on. My heart goes out to you at this time. I have sooo many memories of adventures we had as kids with our families getting together, visiting, spending time and laughter, the "Christmas Car Train", the twins and the dryer incident... He was quite a character, gregarious, funny and I liked him and his humour. You always knew where you stood with Jim. And he always had that mischievous twinkle in his eye, always made me wonder - what is comin' down the pike next??!! LOL There are never any right words to say that help one at this time. But please know, my heart and thoughts are with all of you.
Much love,
Bobby Laidlaw & Bob Laidlaw
