Condolences
.....what a good man the world has lost. Garry was our family's accountant but more than that, he was our friend. He was there when Ed was sick and then later after Ed died, sorting out finances, helped our son Jeff with the accounting details of starting his first business, helped the church - NCCC - with its finances....the list is endless. Everything he did and said (whether we wanted to hear it or not) was with absolute integrity, honesty, and compassion. If Garry had any fault, it was that he cared too much....a fault which the world desperately needs more of. To those he cared for most - his family - our condolences. Elissa Collins Oman
For forty years I have known Garry. His sense of humour, his warmth and his exuberance for life will be sorely missed.
My condolences to his family. Annette Buchholz
I have just learnt about Garry's passing. Garry has been a friend and mentor for many years and I am so very sorry for the loss of such a great guy. I will miss our chats so very much.
RIP Garry xx
I’m very sad to hear the passing of a good man, my friend, Garry! He was very kind, compassionate, generous, helpful and led a good Christian life. He had lots of stories to tell and most times we had lots of laughter. I will miss our coffee visits.
And thank you for all the help you have given me, accounting related questions I had and for doing our taxes.
My deepest condolences to his family!
So sad to hear. I have been Garry's client for 20 years and became good friends over many hours talking about life, politics, religion, snowmobiling and family. He was such a kind hearted man. I will truly miss him. :( condolences to his family.
So many events at the Covenant Church youth programs connected us as well as attending Queen Elizabeth High School at the same time. I don't remember if we were ever in the same class but certainly were both active (along with his brother Ray) in I.S.C.F. He was full of life and fun! He, as was clearly a family heritage, was so faithful in all to which he was committed. I can almost hear his voice as I'm recalling the general joy of life he evidenced. He loved comparing our lives as P.K.'s and could be counted on to tease. I thank God for him and many of the "great kids" I had the privilege to know in my early to mid teens. My sincere sympathy to his family, as, even though they can rejoice Garry's with his Lord - it must seem like he left them much too soon. Joan (Moseson) Hendrickson

The planet has lost a kind and gentle soul. Garry was a dear friend of mine. We worked together 30 years ago and then ended up living in the same condo complex. Garry had to be the kindest and most generous person you could find. He was always there to help anyone who needed it, sometimes to his own detriment. His humour and optimism were infectious. I know his deep faith was a great comfort to him.
A man with a smile for every joy and a tear for every sorrow, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Garry was a wonderful man, I met him 25+ years ago when I was working at the Bargain Finder. He became my accountant and friend. I have wonderful memories of Garry, his wit, his kindness, his laughter and smile. Garry was the kind of person that would drop anything to help a friend. He shared many pictures of his adventures, his love of snowmobiling, the trips he enjoyed to see family, we had many conversations of investment properties, flipping, life, politics and so much more. Miss you Garry! To the family my deepest condolences for your loss
Ian and I first met Garry through a mutual friend Jennifer Martison, both lived in Chateaux on the Green. What I remember most about Garry was his smile. He was kind and always willing to help out friends or anyone in need. Rest in peace.
I am very saddened to learn of the passing of Garry. He was a kind, compassionate, caring gentleman. Garry was my trusted accountant for many years and I will miss him greatly, as will so many others. To his family, I offer my sincere condolences. Rest in Peace, my friend, you will be remembered as an honourable man the world lost too soon.

I first met Garry while working at the Bargain Finder as he did a lot of the taxes for my friends there. We became friends . He was a great guy, always had a joke and always in a sunny mood. He was a fine person, and I will miss our conversations. Bye for now, Garry.

Very sad to hear of the loss of this kind, gentle man. Rest In Peace Garry
I'm going to miss you Garry and I'm going to miss our easy conversations. Your wisdom, your wit and your laid back nature were always appreciated.
Enjoy your well earned time "upstairs" my friend.
We are so surprised to hear of Gary’s passing on to Glory at such a young age. Our deepest condolences to the family. We met Gary in our home group several years back and became friends. Sadly we have not connected with him for a while. I guess we will have to wait to see him again in heaven. Lots of love from Tom and Bev
Garry and I had enjoyed meeting every second week or so at Denny's restaurant to correct the worlds wrongs. Also travelled to Windermere and went ski-doing together. Garry did my companies taxes and showed great patience while explaining it all to me every year. I will miss him. Ron Parsons
