Sarah Glass
I’m so sorry to hear of Stubby’s passing. The Glass family knew him and Avis well, in fact I think they met at my parents’ wedding in 1967 (Bill and Shirley Glass). We lived in Crossfield and Airdrie until 1976 and I remember lots of Sunday dinners at the Stafford family farm. We kids loved to ring the bell in the yard and I have vivid memories of the passageway between the main house and the greenhouse being this magical place, almost like a different world in their home. The picture attached is of me and Stub, taken in September or October 1968, during one of those visits. I will remember his laugh always. Rest In Peace Stubby and my condolences to his family. He will be so missed.
