Obituary of Rhonda Dawn WOLD

Rhonda Wold of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the age of 56 years old.

Rhonda was born in Calgary, AB on February 23, 1964 and lived there her whole life. She attended Cliff Bungalow Elementary School and then went onto Rideau Park Jr. High School. Rhonda accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her children and grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her. She loved music and you could always find her singing to all the new and old songs. Rhonda’s most memorable vacation was when she went to the Dominican Republic with her friend Deb, and when she went to Disney Land with her three children and brother Rick. Rhonda’s favourite sayings were “I like that sweater, is it mine?” and “you’ll sleep when you’re dead.” She will be most remembered for her sweet smile and the joy she brought to everybody’s life. She was always so happy no matter what life offered that day! 

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, near and far. 

Rhonda is survived by her mother and step-father, Lillian Pich Marcella and Paul Marcella of Calgary, AB, her son Mark Jesse Gillard of Calgary, AB; her two daughters, Chanelle Gillard, and Stephanie Gillard of Calgary, AB; her three grandchildren, Rylan Westfall, Mahayla Mattu, and Eli VanGelder of Calgary, AB. Rhonda is also survived by her two brothers, Richard Wold and Roger Wold of Calgary, AB.

Rhonda was predeceased by her father Neil Wold.
