I'm Brian Maskell from Fort Erie Ontario.

I came across an old photo from grade 2 at Rose Seaton school in Fort Erie and thought I'd try to reach out to share it with Paul. Instead I sadly find his death notice.

It's been years of disconnect and now, too late.

The school was a few doors west of Paul's house.

Paul and I were schoolmates and friends and just a few days apart in age.

I attended Paul's bar mitzvah, and was honoured to do so.

Lou and Stella were clients of my insurance brokerage.

Stella served on the local school board with may father for several years.

I served on the Chamber of Commerce board with Lou... and still remember the meeting when he fell asleep at the table (-:

Life is too short.

I just wanted to reach out to say hello and am really sorry I missed an opportunity to do so.

Paul is in my thoughts.

I hope this message gets passed on.

Please tell Debbie too, I'm sure she'll remember me.
