Condolences
Ericka, Elsie and Elston, I am sorry for your loss. Auntie Susie is someone I will always remember with fondness. As a boy I loved visiting her house for family visits and larger family gatherings. There was also a sleep over or two with Elston. Auntie Susie, Uncle Abe, cousin Edward, and all of you had a warm, welcoming home. I suppose I had my share of her buns at Sunday faspa as well. I met Auntie Susie at a family wedding in the late 1990's, and she was rightfully proud when she told me she was still working in a diner. She had a big smile when she told me that, and I smiled too. The last time I saw Susie was at the hospital when my dad was in a coma a couple years back, and she shared some of her story of the last years in Russia during the second war. These were difficult times, but she smiled widely once again when she told me of the troubles. Till we meet again, peace and good wishes to you all.
Susanne was such a wonderful woman. I will miss her always. Heaven has another angel. RIP my dear friend. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
