Jason Studer of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the age of 39 years old.

Jason was born in the city of Calgary, AB on May 7, 1981.  Jason was born into a family full of love who enjoyed camping together and many other outdoor activities.  This is where Jason’s love for the outdoors began and he continued to have a passion for being outside; camping, biking, swimming and sledding with his niece and nephew. 

Jason loved his family and close friends and had the biggest heart that carried to anyone who came into his life. Once a bond was made with Jason it was not easily broken and his love for others was unconditional. That love also carried over to animals and he would bring home any stray he found.  

Since an early age, Jason had a great curiosity for everything. Jason was very mechanically inclined and would take apart anything he could get his hands on. In Jason’s adult years, he chose mechanics as his profession and saw a soul in every car. Jason had a strong desire to bring them all back to life.  

Jason was a great artist and his drawings amazed anyone who had the opportunity to see them.   Jason has been described by many as having an adventurous spirit and at times in his life has been compared to “Dennis the Menace”.  Jason loved to be a jokester and his niece and nephew loved the pranks he would play. 

It is with great sadness and smiles for all the memories we say good-bye to a great son, brother, uncle and friend. 

Jason is survived by his father Forrest Studer, his mother Patricia Studer (Ed Rochon), his sister Kimberly Lawrence (Jason Adams), his niece Iris Lawrence, and his nephew Ash Lawrence; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
