Obituary of John Thomas (Tom) STATHAM

December 5, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

John (Tom) Statham, beloved husband of June Statham (nee Manning) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the age of 89 years.

Tom was born in Davyhulme, Great Britain on November 23, 1931.
After marrying June in 1955, he immigrated to Canada in 1957 with June to start their new life. 

Tom graduated from the University of Calgary as a Chartered Management Accountant (CMA). He was an active member of The Society of Management Accountants of Alberta and worked for the City of Calgary from 1957 until his retirement in 1986. 

Together Tom and June had three boys, of whom Tom was particularly proud. In his free time, Tom enjoyed soccer and had a passion for golfing. He also created memorable vacations while cruising.

Besides his loving wife June, Tom is survived by his three sons, David (Loretta), Peter (Sandra) and Robert (Lisa); his three grandchildren, Sarah (Chris), Sharla and Sean; and his sister Sheila.  John was predeceased by his parents, Sophia and John.
