Obituary of Michael "Troy" FILLIS

Troy Fillis of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the age of 51 years.

Troy was born in Cape Breton, NS on January 17, 1969. He loved music and was most proud of his daughter Leila, who was always so special to him. Troy will be remembered as a very kind and giving man, who would do anything to help others.

Troy is survived by his daughter Leila Marie Fillis, his sister Eileen Fills, brothers, George and Wayne Fillis; and niece Kaitlin Fillis.  He is also survived by his friends of more than thirty years, Keith and Dan Gillis; long-time friend and mother of his daughter, Kakelia Baglole, as well as many friends and family in Cape Breton, NS and Calgary, AB. Troy was predeceased by his parents, Sylvia and Kenneth Fillis; and brother Danny Fillis.
