Obituary of Glen Gary McKEIGAN

December 8, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Glen McKeigan, beloved husband of Mary McKeigan (nee Pinel) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 65 years.

Glen was born in Edmonton, AB on October 14, 1955 and moved to Calgary with his family as a child. He married his wife of twenty-five years, Mary, in May of 1996. Glen will be remembered for his natural ability to make people laugh. Glen had a great appreciation for oldies music, he loved to dance, and he always looked forward to poker games with friends and family. Glen was proud of his family and valued the time they were able to share together.

Besides his loving wife Mary, Glen is survived by his children, Karleen, Chris (Leah), Jen (Michael), and Robyn. He is also survived by his siblings, Connie, Cal (Charlene), Mel (Gayle), Val and Judy; his four grandchildren, Jasmine, Brooke, Ella, and Jimmy; as well as a large extended family and many friends.

Glen is predeceased by his father Allan, his mother Elva “Lorraine”, his sisters Leslie and Tina (Lyle), his brother Dennis (Debbie) and his brothers-in-law, Dean and Paul.

The family would like to thank all hospital staff, especially those in the Emergency Room and Unit 74 at the Rockyview General Hospital, for their exceptional care and compassion over the last few years of Glen’s life.
