Lillian Margaret Heather quietly and peacefully departed this life on Friday, December 11, 2020, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 93 years.
 

Lillian, daughter of the late, Stanley Victor Heather and Emma Celestia Miller, was born on February 5, 1927, in Bashaw, AB. She attended elementary school at Rockling Bay, AB, and Bashaw, AB, and completed high school at Western Canada High School in Calgary, AB. Lillian was united in holy matrimony to Ernest Alfred Heather on November 2, 1948, at a countryside wedding near Milo, AB. Her beloved husband, Ernie passed away on May 2, 2000. Lillian was the matriarch of the family. She was an avid supporter of the Pro-Life Movement. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so dearly, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Lillian’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Jim Heather of Vulcan, AB, Larry Heather of Calgary, AB, and Murray (Darlene) Heather of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Anthony, Rebecca, Kathleen, and Nicole Heather all of Calgary, AB; sister Rose Russell of Victoria, BC, sister-in-law Joyce Heather of Parksville, BC, brother-in-law Tom Niven of Camrose, AB, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
 

She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Emma Heather; husband Ernie Heather, daughter Jeanne Heather, brother Stuart Heather, and sisters, Mary Harvey, Kathleen Minkensky, Gloria Jaycock, and Sylvia Heather.

Those we love do not go away. They walk beside us every day unseen and unheard but always near, still loved, still missed and still very dear.
 

A Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed here.
