Condolences
Like many others I wish I could have attended but a global pandemic got in the way of that. We do what we can and that was a beautiful tribute to Jan (mother/wife/sister/daughter). Her struggle with cancer was truly heroic and I have only respect for how she dealt with her illness and ultimately her death. She will be missed by so many. My heartfelt condolences to all of you.

It was a blessing to have known Jan and worked with her through the HEALING PATHWAY ministry at Parkdale. She lived life to the fullest and was truly an inspiration in so many ways. May all who her grieve her loss be comforted.
I trust that her love will continue to be felt by her family, friends, and so many more whose lives she has touched and who will now be guided and inspired by her angelic presence.
I met Jan several years ago through Healing Touch and the Healing Pathway and we became friends. She loved her family very much and was so grateful for your support. I miss Jan, but nowhere near as much as you do Kevin, Patrick, Shauna, and Kendra, Elsie and Cameron. My heartfelt condolences to you and prayers for healing, comfort, and strength. And Jan, rest in peace, my friend.
I remember Janice well through 12 grades of Primary School.

I will truly miss Jan. We shared many fond memories while raising our children in the same neighborhood, school and activities. We also shared a passion for yoga and qigong. She was always well informed and an a passionate supporter and fundraiser for community causes and events. My condolences to Kevin, Patrick, Shauna and Kendra. She will rest in peace.

Jan was a fine person who contributed generously to her community for all the years we knew her, beginning with Tots Time in Hounsfield Heights Briar Hill. Condolences to her loved ones on the loss of a beautiful person. -Susanne and Dave
I am saddened by Jan’s passing as she was such a kind and inclusive person. I joined the BEST group about 2 years ago and Jan was very welcoming. I spent some time reading her blog and it shows me how brave she was in the face of all the pain she endured. She talked of her family often and you could see the love she felt for you all. May she be pain free and peaceful now. She will be missed.
Hello! Cameron, and your Mother Elsie. It is with great sadness to hear of your sister and Elsie your daughter's passing. When we were neighbors for many years and everybody grew up and then we all go our way. Whether it is moving, getting married, or whatever. I remember Janice with this beautiful strawberry blond hair, so pretty. Quite a personality. My Sincerest condolences go to her husband, and their children and to her brother Cameron, Mother Elsie. Sincerely, Lillian Buckland and all our family.
I had the privilege of going to Tapestry, a retreat for breast cancer survivors, and being in a support group together with Jan and created a very special friendship. We would meet for coffee or lunch, usually at Big T's Bbq. We would see each other at the CIBC Run For the Cure, and on occasion I would watch the Sistership Dragon Boat team. I remember receiving healing touch from her on more than one occasion and finding peace within afterwards. I will truly miss her beautiful smile, her incredible soul and her undeniable strength, courage and inspiration to all who knew her. You have your wings Jan, now soar with the angels. I will hold you in my heart forever. God Bless you and the family
I had the pleasure of co-facilitating the Sharing and Caring breast cancer support group in Calgary for the past few years. Janice was dedicated, knowledgeable, passionate and kind. I'm incredibly grateful for our time together and she had a profound impact on me. Rest in peace my dear mentor and friend, I'll miss you dearly.
My thoughts are with the family and community ❤
