Condolences
I just heard of Jordy's passing and I'm heartbroken.
I will forever remember him as the spunky little one that was in my first grade three class in Morley. He would always have a huge smile on his face and although he tried to challenge me at times, his antics would always make me giggle.. I moved to grade four the following year and then grade five and he was with me for those school years as well. We had so many memories that he would remind me of as the years passed and we would share a good laugh. His smile would warm the room and so would his artwork. Even at just eight years old he was a talented artist, often drawing pictures for his classmates and for myself. Over the years he would pop in for a visit and would find me no matter what classroom I was in... or school I was working at, always leaving with a pile of paper and black skinny markers to draw with... In return, he would leave me one of his beautiful drawings or paintings. He would put up with my "mom" lectures with a smile and an "okay" and a " You sound like a mom!" He didn't show his softer side to many, but I was fortunate to have seen that in him always.
My heart felt condolences and prayers to Val, Gus and Seena and his extended family as well. The world has lost an incredible artist and human, but heaven has gained one.
Condolences to the Family on their loss
Jordy was one of the first to welcome me to Morley. Always hustling his art, coming by for coffee, and making me laugh. I’m sad that he’s gone but find comfort that he no longer struggles here on earth. He was a unique soft soul. I’ll miss him. Condolences to all loved ones.
