Obituary of Susan Martha DENIKE

November 10, 1948 – December 14, 2020 

Susan passed away in the early morning of Monday, December 14, 2020 from a tragic automobile accident December 9.

She was a wonderful and generous friend to all who knew her and will be fondly remembered.  Susan was born in Deep River, Ontario, and grew up in Ottawa.  She moved to Calgary after finishing school and worked for Manulife for 20 years.  She then reinvented herself with a new business called Biscotti by Susan.  She was an active member of The Dragon Boat Sistership helping cancer survivors achieve a healthy lifestyle.  Also a member of Casting for Life which helps breast cancer survivors rehabilitate through learning to fly fish.  Susan leaves many friends at the Calgary City Market where she worked in their booths as well as her own.

She leaves behind a loving family: niece Jasmine Denike, nephews, Adam Campbell, Robin Campbell, Nathan Campbell; sister Mona Pace, and her beloved poodle Bene.
