Condolences
Linda, Ken and family,
This is a very nice picture of John. He found a place in my heart. I can still hear him singing "A slow boat to China" Lol and remember the nice walks we took together when he was able and spending time watching the Lawrence Welk show and opera which he truly enjoyed also. He acted as conductor when he listened.
I grew somewhat attached to John and I have to say it was a pleasure to look after him in his last years. Someday I am sure we will meet again.
May fond memories of your Father keep you all.
My sincerest sympathies,
Christine Letby aka Christa

Dear Linda, Kenny and Families,
What a beautiful, fun-loving man your dad was! He was always so kind and friendly with a smile on his face! I am very saddened to hear of your loss. I have many fond and precious memories of your dad, mom and family that I will treasure always from living in Exshaw and being friends and neighbours. I can still see and hear him dancing & singing! He brought "Sunshine" where ever he went! I send much love and sympathy to you and pray that God will comfort all of you and give you Peace at this very sad time.
My Love & Deepest Sympathy,
Valerie Cardinal (Heath)
Many, many fond memories spending time in the Mikkelsen home in Exshaw and growing up with Linda and Ken! I remember being honoured a few years ago to say a few words at Jean’s memorial. Be assured of my deepest sympathies to all of the family and know that I carry you all in my thoughts and prayers!
Louise (Lohmann) Parsons
