December 21, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Kade Krokosinski . She lost her battle with depression on Monday, December 21, 2020.

Kade Tye Krokosinski was born on April 18, 1988 to Wanda Krokosinski and John Clarke. She was a loving daughter and friend to many.  Kade is survived by her mother Wanda, aunt Lucy (Harry) Assen (nee Krokosinski) from Calgary, uncle Karl (Michela) Krokosinski from Vancouver and Jimmy Singh Gill from Calgary. She was predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Walter and Josephine Krokosinski.

She attended all of her schooling in Calgary, AB. After she graduated from St Mary's High, her adventurous spirit took her to Japan where she taught English for a year. After she returned, she attended the University of Victoria where she obtained a degree in Art History and a degree in Film Studies.

When Kade moved back to Calgary, she attended Ambrose College in hopes of obtaining her teaching certification. She was truly loved by the children she worked with. Kade was an advocate for the underdog!

The past few years Kade spent her time caring for the elderly. Her kind and compassionate nature enabled her to face her challenges. Kade excelled at making her elderly friends lead greater lives without desperation.

Kade fought the challenges of anxiety and depression daily. Her kind spirit kept the creative side of her life flowing. She was a most talented and passionate artist /painter of her time. Her writing and films will live in our hearts and minds forever.

If we could sit across the porch from our maker, we would thank them for loaning us our Kade. Her favorite saying from Kabir was "When you really look for me, you will see me instantly -- you will find me in the tiniest house of time."

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Kade’s name may be made directly to the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank Society, www.calgaryfoodbank.com.  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Kade’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
