Condolences
Dear Aunt Marilyn,
We were saddened to hear that Uncle Dirk had passed away. When he visited he always seemed to bring some music into our day, and so we shared the picture of him playing his mouth organ at one of our get-togethers. As you mentioned, he also enjoyed cross-stitch and the Amazing Grace hymn was a gift from Uncle Dirk and Aunt Pearl to their relatives, Correy and Stanley Kimm. They also have passed away, but the hope that we have in Jesus Christ as our Savior comforts us and causes us to look forward to that day when we will see them again and "we will have no less days to sing His praise, than when we've first begun."
In sympathy,
Jake and Colleen Kimm
Aunt Marilyn - our condolences for your loss. Uncle Dirk was always so willing to share his love of music and I have many childhood memories of him with his harmonica.
Dear Marilyn,
We are so sorry that you only had a relatively short time with (our uncle) Dirk.
We know that you made him a very happy man when you agreed to marry him.
I heard you had some good en fine years together, with lots of travelling around.
We were glad to meet you both again in the Netherlands two years ago.
It was nice meeting you in person Marilyn!
Ik hope there will soon be better times for you again!
With kind regards, (and I know i'm speaking on behalf of the whole family who can't write to you in English)
and all the best to you!
Gerdien, Martien, Hilda, Barry, Coby, Herman en the nieces and nephews
Dear Marilyn and family,
We are sorry to learn of Dirk’s passing. We enjoyed his sense of humour and shared laughs at the HOA barbecue. It was also interesting to read of his journey from the Netherlands to Canada and his passion for baking. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Dear Marilyn and Family,
I'm so sorry to learn of Dirk's passing. 2020 was a difficult year for everyone, but losing a treasured family member makes things even harder for all of you. Dirk's obituary is so beautifully written - a real tribute to a wonderful man. Sending you most sincere sympathy and hoping your many loving memories will ease your hearts.
