Obituary of Kathleen Ann DALEY

December 25, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Kathleen Daley of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the age of 50 years. 

Kathy was part of the Vecova community for a long period of her life. Kathy was a wonderful personality at Vecova and her memory will live on through all of the great friendships and relationships she made at Vecova. She will be missed by her peers and the employees, current and former, who had the privilege of knowing her.  
 
Kathy had moved in with her roommate in August 2004. Throughout the years, they celebrated many birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays together. She was very sociable, friendly and outgoing. She loved chatting with the neighbors. She was often seen outside helping someone with watering their flowers or raking leaves and even helped with staining a fence. She is missed by many neighbors and friends. 
 
Kathy loved horses and was in the process of writing a story about horses. She loved to reminisce about her days riding horses with her mom. Kathy also loved to crochet and knit and had many projects on the go. 
 
She has had a few jobs over the years and her favorite was at Jubilations Dinner Theater, partly because she got to watch and enjoy a lot of their productions. 
 
Kathy volunteered as much as she could; she loved volunteering at the Children’s Festival among others. 
 
Kathy was such a sweet, kind, and caring, compassionate person. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for someone; she was so generous with her time. She always put on a smile and was always so willing to help out in any way she could. She is greatly missed.
 
She is survived by her younger brother Frank, and mother, Bernice. Kathy will be heading to Saskatchewan where her family resides, so there will not be a service in Calgary. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Kathleen’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
