Condolences
I had the pleasure of working with Sue at Glenbow School. Her expertise was commendable, and was always imparted with humour and a big smile. She made personal connections with students, staff, and parents throughout her work life. She was a beautiful person who spread kindness and happiness everywhere she went. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

To the family of Sue,
You likely do not know me. I am a teacher at Glenbow School in Cochrane. I wanted to let you know that I had so many wonderful conversations with Sue and was always so happy to see her at the school. We shared a love of linguistics and good conversation. I learned some Hungarian in my youth and she taught me a little more. I missed seeing her at our school for the last few years and am so saddened to hear of her battle with cancer. This is a very difficult time to grieve and I know that you will find comfort in knowing how many lives Sue has touched and how she is fondly remembered. - Peter Bouvier, Cochrane, Alberta.

We are incredibly heartbroken to hear of Sues passing. Sue felt like a member of our family, she had a profound connection with our children. We will cherish all the joyful memories we shared. We will always be grateful for the wisdom, knowledge and guidance she bestowed upon us. Sue was talented, passionate and genuine in her ability to help children flourish with her skills as an SLP. Sue always looked forward to her Vanilla lattes and conversations with my children as they shared many stories and played games. She will be deeply missed, rest peacefully my dear friend
My heart was so saddened to hear of Sue's passing. I shall treasure our many conversations sharing uplifting stories of our growing girls together. Her love and pride of her girls was so evident. Sue also had a passion for helping students to her utmost ability. Sue's distinguished laugh will be fondly remembered.
I am so saddened to read of Sue’s passing. I was apart so many meeting with anxious parents of Kindergarten learners, Sue’s love of the children shone. She managed to make everyone feel hopeful and constructive practices gave these little ones the gift of overcoming speech difficulties. The respect for your mom was large and her fun loving personality was so appreciated.
Sue was such a wonderful person and we were very lucky to get private speech lessons from her for my boys. She was kind and caring to not only the kids but to the moms who were scared and needed direction on how to help our kids speech. She would always tell me great stories of her beautiful daughters and since I only had boys - we would laugh at how different yet similar life could be. I am so saddened to hear of her passing and will always think of her kindness. Sending my deep condolences to the family.
It is with great sadness to hear of Sue’s passing. Her passion for her work and family was always evident. She made a difference in many young lives and will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to all of Sue’s family and prayers to her girls during this very difficult time.
I worked with Sue at Bearspaw School and she provided private speech therapy to both my children in our home in Cochrane when they were young. I have a heavy heart knowing that our world is now without Sue's laughter and enthusiasm. She made such a great impact to so many children she worked with. I'd like her dear daughters to know that in the years I worked closely with Sue, she would light up, speaking of both of you and clearly loved her job as a mother more than anything. My most sincere condolences.
I knew Sue through our work together at Rockyview School Div. Her passion, knowledge and love of her work shone through everytime we were together. Whenever Sue came to my class there was laughter and maybe some venting but always support and caring. I remember her often talking about her girls and showing me videos they had made. Sue touch the lives of many students and their families. The difference she made in their lives will continue.
I am a teacher from Rockyview School Div. and worked with your Mom. She was one of the most vibrant and passionate people I have met in my life. It was always a joy to bump into her in the hall and have a chat. She left you smiling every time! Her passion for what she did was infectious and I learned so much from her. Many of our chats in the hall were about our children and if it was possible Sue was even more passionate about her girls.
I'm deeply saddened to hear about Sue's passing and send my heartfelt condolences to her family. She was an amazing person who touched so many lives.
Sincerely, Michele Courage
