Obituary of Gloria Gadiano SALCEDO

January 23, 1942 -San Fernando, Cebu City, Philippines
December 29, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

Gloria G. Salcedo, beloved wife of Pepito Ibuos Salcedo of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December  29, 2020 at the age of 78 years.

Gloria was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL), and a faithful parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church.

Besides her loving husband  Pepito I. Salcedo, Gloria is survived by her three daughters and son-in-law, Emily and Joy Buenaventura, Maria Morales, and E. Isabel Salcedo (all of Calgary); Her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ernesto and Mildred Salcedo of Calgary, Pepito Salcedo Jr. and Dheny Rivas of Lethbridge,  and John Paul Graham Salcedo of Calgary; fourteen grandchildren, Kimberly Morales (Calgary), Justin Salcedo (Calgary), Zak Buenaventura (Calgary), Joshua Salcedo (Calgary), Rene Morales Jr. (Calgary), Elijah Buenaventura (Calgary), Markus Alexander Ross Nixon (Sundre), Josiah Buenaventura (Calgary), Jelaina Salcedo (Calgary), Jacob Salcedo (Calgary), Tiergan Salcedo (Lethbridge), Elias Salcedo (Lethbridge), Sebastian Salcedo (Lethbridge), Amara Salcedo (Calgary); great-grandchildren, Alixus Brant (Calgary), Maximus Brant (Calgary), Alicya Morales (Calgary), Miliano-Rene Morales (Calgary).

Gloria is also survived by her three brothers and three sisters-in-law; Rolando and Lourdes Alima (Philippines), Junie and Mayon Alima (Philippines), Boy and Pepang Alima (Philippines).

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Eugenia and Jorge Alima; brother Bernardo Alima; and her two sisters, Marites Alima and Bayling Alima.
