Condolences
Remembering so many fond times, as children, especially. It was a delight to be part of such a large group, and Tanya added so much fun and energy and laughter to the mix! Remembering the giggling, often unstoppable, especially at times when we needed to stifle the laughter, which never worked...bell choir a prime example! I loved watching Tanya draw and colour her doodle art and sketching, rug hooking, designs on paintbrush Christmas cookies, braids and more braids, and various camp braiding crafts etc. I could just be in the moment, actually, just watching and being mesmerized as she 'created'...a most unique experience I have never had repeated, where I could just 'be', watching, and feeling so satisfied to see her create! It is one of my 'Happy Places'. A very special gift Tanya has given me. Love Maureen
Remembering special times with your entire family during our short stay in Lethbridge. Sandra and I send our love and pray for the peace of the Prince of Peace to surround you all.

Remembering her wonderful smile and genuine laugh - telling her a joke or story and listening to her to laugh so hard and say “Car-Lyn’. Amazing to me how she received the tiniest kindness with such appreciation and made you feel like it was the best thing in the world to see you or talk with you. Her love of the pleasure of Red Lobster or KFC or a juicy steak - the things so easy to take for granted. Remembering her helping me study for essays in high school and university - correcting me if I missed one of my bullet points. Teaching her to make chili and meatloaf and coconut cake. So proud of how she chose to live brightening the day of residents and staff. She could talk easily with anyone. Honoured to witness the treasured love she gave to and received from Aunt Lyla. Doing math timestables, and her allergy shots appts. Watching her play Nertz with Maureen as partner (unbeatable). Sending her to get me Coca Cola for a quarter. And oh yeah, sharing an unforgettable canoe ride with her and Ian. Oh how we’ll miss you dear one - I picture you running running running now. Carolyn
