Carrie Denise Wheeler, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the age of 54.

Carrie was born to Llewelyn (Jim) and Sadie Wheeler in Toronto, ON on September 18, 1966, the fourth of four children. Carrie was a traveler at heart and spent most of her life exploring. She finally made her way back to her family for the last year of her life. She had a very kind heart and was nicknamed “Carrie the Care Bear” for this very reason.

Carrie was a very proud mom to daughter Dawn (Bryce) and son Ryan as well as grandmother to Liam (Kathrine), Connor, and Piper.  Carrie is also survived by her brother Henry (Alta), sisters, Geraldine and Sherrie (Lynn); half-siblings, Angela and Michael (Agnes); her nieces and nephews, Shayla (Nathan), Colin, Howie, Ashley, and Dakota; and great-niece Teal. She was predeceased by her father Llewelyn Wheeler and stepfather Ernie Molnar. Her memories will live on in all our hearts.
