Obituary of Cody Ray PASTIC

May 06, 1980 – Calgary, Alberta
December 27, 2020 – Calgary, Alberta

With heartbroken sadness, we share the devastating loss of our Cody Ray Pastic, after a short illness at the age of 40 years. He passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

Cody shared his life and many happy memories with the love of his life, Caroline.  He also dearly loved his four-legged companion, Tugboat – a bulldog with the best underbite and was a loyal buddy to him.  His love of life was inspiring, with so many unforgettable experiences including riding his motorcycle through the Rockies, football Sundays and annually travelling to the beaches in Mexico with Caroline.

He was diligently working towards his Journeyman Electrician ticket. It was important to him that his work was done to perfection.

Cody Ray was an incredibly loving man and friend who have left many mourning his loss.  He would do anything for anyone who needed his help at the drop of a hat and a smile.  Left to grieve is his long life partner, Caroline Mahlberg; his parents, Terri and Ken Williams, sister and brother Kaitlyn and Tommy; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and outstanding friends who were as close as family and too numerous to honour by name.

He will be deeply and forever missed, but we are comforted in knowing he is with his Gramma, Grampa, uncle, cousin, and other family members welcoming him home with loving, open arms.

Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Cody’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to The Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110th Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB  T2C 2T7, Telephone: (403)205-4455, www.calgaryhumane.ca.

In living memory of Cody Pastic, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB T2X 3J3, Telephone: 403-256-9575.
