Condolences
Although I hadn't seen Scott for many years we were best of friends growing up in Jr and Sr high school .
I spent a lot of time at his house listening to his great record collection of mostly Rock and Jazz music with a few comedy record's as well. We both had scooter's in Jr and among many cars we had Chev Impala's in our Sr .
In 73 he bought the new Honda 250 Elsinore 2 stroke , Honda's first and he was winning the TT races at Blackfoot with it. It was then that I decided to buy one and start racing again after a brief season in72 on a Montesa. I always remember telling many people how and why I started racing which I still do occasionally and ironically owe it all to Scott. Growing up he was very smart and always new about the underground culture happenings so was a trend setter in a lot of ways in our circles. His convincing nature started early as I remember when he talked his very conservative accountant Dad into buying a brand new 340 Duster 4 speed with 3.91 gears for drag racing which we got to drive down to Spokane about the first month his Dad got it. We gambled a lot in cards and pool back then and I really cherish a lot of those memories. It's quite apparent that he touched a lot of people and was very well respected in the bike business .His parents were terrific generous people which I'm sure he followed deeply in there steps. Godspeed Scott.

I am at a loss for words , this is truly tragic news. Scott's Father (Bob) was my accountant when I had my construction Co . Later when I opened My Motorcycle shop I met Scott . He then became a Rep for Steen Hansens and we developed a great friendship. That was some 35+ years ago. Scott was the consumate Pro at his job , always Professional and Knowledgeable . He was one of the Best Reps we ever had . He will be Missed , GBNF. God Speed Scott and R.I.P

Scott was a great man indeed. I have known Scott for 11+ years, meeting him through the power sports industry. In this short time, a great friendship was made. I always enjoyed his visits whether it was to talk shop over a pizza or catch up on days past, he was never short on something to say. Scotty always picked up the phone when I had questions and typically knew the answer but if he didn't.... "I'll get back to ya Rich". Scott's passing was a huge shock to me when I got the call. Maybe now he finally has time to ride that old CBX! I will miss you Scott, rest in peace buddy.
I worked with Scott for many years. We could talk about anything, An intelligent person, that I respected. Still surprised at his passing. Will miss him!
I have so many fond memories of Scott, all the way back to when I first got to know him in the early '80s as a sales rep for Steen Hansen. Always quick with a joke or the latest news or cool stuff involving the motorcycle business, Scotty rates as one of the best sales reps in the motorcycle industry and just a great, fun guy to be around - he will be missed by all; God Speed, Scotty.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up , totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a ride"
- Hunter S. Thompson
Scott was a powersports Rep of Rep's. I've known Scott for twenty five plus year. He was a gentle giant sold me one of my favorite street bike's I've owned CB 900F. He'll be greatly missed.
Scott was an intergral part of the Canadian motorcycle community whm we all looked forward to seeing as a friend and as a product representative. Ever helpfull and highly knowledgable Scott was happy to talk about all things motorcycle and ready to educate on the latest product inovation.
With no motorcycle shows this year we were not able to do our regular catch up and now that oppertunity is gone not just for me and the Cycle Works Family but for the many hindreds of dealers, emplyees and consumers that have benifitted from Scotts depth of product knowledge.
He will be missed.
