Condolences
We moved to Cochrane in 1976 to begin a coal mining career at Coal Valley. We were there only a month when I received a call from Gerry inviting me to join the Edson ladies curling club. When golf season began I received a call again inviting me to join the ladies league. This time I was able to participate and over the many years we lived there I would occasionally get to golf with her . I saw her as an enthusiastic sports lover, a great community volunteer and friendly to many who knew her. Although our paths did not cross often we both ended up moving to Cochrane . It was always good catching up with her as we rushed around town before heading out again to our favorite recreation spots. She will be missed by those whose lives she touched. Thanks for the memories Gerry .
To Al and family our sincerest condolences. "When a loved one becomes a memory - the memory becomes a treasure!" Memories...they are what we hold in our hearts and we shared so many with you and Gerry at the lake over the years which we will always look back on and cherish dearly. Sharing in your sorrow with much love, Bill and Marj

To Al and family my sincerest condolences. I spent many times on the golf cart with Gerry. We had a lot of giggles. She was so easy to talk with and had a welcoming way about her. She had a lovely smile. I'll never forget spending New Years Eve with Al and Gerry.at Edson I barely knew them, but felt at home there.
I'm glad to here that you are better Al. You are tough!!
