I have many fond memories of Grams going all the way back to seeing her and Doug arrive at the airport in Adelaide when we were kids, so much excitement. Getting in the car and trying to find out if she brought us gifts......she always did.
Walking through the mall in Calgary trying to find “roots” undies for my then girlfriend. Still laugh when I think of her asking all the salespersons as we tried to find some.
My wife and I often talk about the memory at the cabin seeing Grams run down the beach firing a water gun............she was nearly 90 at the time!
My best recent memory is having the opportunity to introduce Grams to my girls! Such a great time and have many photos and videos of both encounters.
Beautiful person, long innings and great memories.
We will miss you!

Grams travelled to Oman to visit with us when she was 80
She was absolutely in awe of the beautiful Mosques, and in typical grams style was so genuinely open to learn everything she could about Omans people n their culture. It was such a pleasure to show her Oman
Grams believed without a doubt her 5 boys were perfect in every way, even if they weren’t, she would never say otherwise!!
She loved her lists and putting the right amount of tinsel on the tree strand by strand,
and her signature saying “now doug...”
She never missed anyone’s birthday or anniversary, with a card and “Just a little something to spend on yourself” inside
It was her philosophy never to say a bad word about anyone
A Truly Gracious Lady
“Neither death nor disease can conquer love”
May the winds of heaven blow softly, n whisper in your ear, how much we love n Miss you n wish were here!!
