Condolences
Diane, Estelle, Shane and family
René was a huge staple of my childhood, he felt like a second father as I grew up alongside Estelle. From making us laugh, sharing his wisdom, being our taxi driver and letting us hear it when we were out of line. We all so much fun together from our trip to Canada’s wonderland to all the weekends at the camp.
My heart breaks for the sadness you are all going through and I hope that all the memories of him bring you warmth as you navigate through your grief.
Here’s to the wonderful man that René was and may he now watch over you all from above.
Love Chantal Ippersiel Chubaty
Dearest Diane and Family

Rene had a kind hearted soul that made visiting with him at family functions a joy. RIP Rene. ❤️
Diane and family, I’m so sad to hear of the loss of Rene. From the moment I met hm I liked him. Not just being a musical master, or having a beautiful singing voice but loved listening to him talk, he knew a lot about a lot. Never forget he answered my phone once on a call I was scared to answer. Most of all he loved my friend, and my friend Diane loved him. Unconditional. Love xoxo
My dear sister Diane & her Family

Dear Diane and family, please accept our deepest condolences from Kevin and I. The other day when we found out of Rene’s passing Kevin and I began reminiscing. Funny enough, Kevin has known, played and sang many times with Rene. Maybe someday he could share some other stories, but we all agree that Rene was a music genius And way ahead of his time. You are in our thoughts and prayers Diane and plz don’t ever hesitate to contact us.
Love you dear friend,
-Nicole Bond, and Kevin McMahon.

Diane and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Rene had many difficult mountains to climb during the last years of his life and I hope he has reached a lovely green valley, sitting on his bike with the sun shining on him and music all around.
Love,
-Linda Malley
This man (my chosen Uncle) had a love for music and life. He was blessed with his biggest fan being his wife. My world was enlightened with him in it and I will forever remember his smile. My heart is with all that loved him especially his number one fan.
Love Always,
Carrie
Diane and family, my prayers are with you all. I'll never forget driving to Lethbridge with you when you told me the story of how you both met and your journey of falling in love, I think of it always. My thoughts are with you during this hard time.

Condolences to you Diane and family. Such a sweet dear friend ❤️Loved to laugh, great sense of humour. Such a talented guitar player, great musician and beautiful soul. RIP Rene
Diane, Estelle, Shane: I know Rene is finally free of pain and suffering. He fought the good fight. We have so many memories that go back 25 years in Timmins On. and we will cherish them in the months to come. Rene was a great music teacher who taught our son Nick to play guitar beginning at the age of 5 years old. Rene's talent was incredible and his love for playing stringed instruments was a gift we were blessed to hear for so many years. Those who knew him, those who listened to him play music and those of us who shared in his life will be forever touched and blessed for knowing his heart. Rest now Rene we already miss you Brian and Yvonne McClinchey Your Timmins On. Family
Thinking of you Diane and the family ... Rene had a amazing desire to live life to its fullest no matter what assailed him ... I’m happy I met him a few years ago with you on New Year’s Eve when you both allowed me to see your great love for each other through the stories you shared and attention you gave to each other ... be well peace David Burke
On this day I am very sad, not only have I lost a brother but I’ve lost a very dear and close friend. Through fire and ice we’ve always managed to break through and love brought us back together. I already miss you my brother, my friend hopefully our paths cross again. My prayers are always with you.
