August 6, 1958 – Calgary, Alberta
January 23, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Martha Florence Crawler, was called home by our “Great Creator” our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, at the age of 62.

The sudden passing of Martha has left our community with a great deal of grief and sorrow for the many families, friends, and relatives that knew her. She was the second eldest child of six siblings.

Martha was a kind, caring, loving, understanding, reliable, helpful person. Martha always lit up a room with her smile. She has a lot of certificates and a social work diploma. Martha was hard working all her life. She worked at Chief Chiniki Restaurant when it first opened, then moved to work at the Stoney Health Centre years ago. She then moved on to working at Chiniki Elders Lodge more than ten years ago, and most recently with “Nadap” for alcohol and drug abuse.

Martha is survived by her four children, Lestander (Arlisa), Corneila, Riley, Eric (Joni); the father of her children Delmar Holloway, adopted son Clint, sister Irene (Don), and half sister Colleen. Martha is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her auntie Helen Twoyoungmen.

Martha was predeceased by her parents, Alma Crawler and Joe Brown, two brothers, Bud and Ferlin; sisters, Deanna, and Angeline; nephews, Conrad, Monty, Ian Bigcrow; nieces Rula, and Crystal; son-in-law Andre; half-brothers, Pat, Logey, Larry; half sisters Marilyn and Cheryl; grandfathers, George Crawler and Joseph Twoyoungmen; uncles, Lou Crawler Sr., Jacob Crawler, and Annie Soldier, Lucy Twoyoungmen, Charlie Simeon; aunties, Christine Poucette, Hazel Hunter, Mary Twoyoungmen and Elizabeth Hunter. We apologize if we have missed anyone.

The family of Martha invite those who wish to pay their respects to the graveside service at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB) on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 2:00pm.  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Martha’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
