January 30, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

January 30, 2021 brought the passing of Brian James Page in his 97th year.

Brian was born in Didsbury, AB, on March 9, 1923. He grew up on a farm east of town. He joined the RCAF in 1942 and made it his career until retirement from the military in 1973. He then worked at the Royal Bank of Canada until his retirement in 1988. Brian was an avid bowler throughout his life, and enjoyed photography, travel, and camping with his family and friends. In his later years he took up golf and played until his mid nineties. He was a man of great character, integrity, and discipline, and from knowing him, and being in his company, we can only hope that we can be better. He will be sadly missed by his many family members, and friends.

He is survived by his brother Derek and sister Mary. He will be missed by his son Bob (Linda), and grandchildren, Travis (Angie), Michael (Amaal), Kristin, Justin (Melissa), Joelle, Yves and Guy (Amber). He especially enjoyed his great-grandchildren, Logan, Tyler, Jas, Mikey, Lucy, Bennett, Reese, Hudson, Eli, and Grace. Brian was the dedicated and loving husband of Solange since 1951 until her passing in 2010. Brian was also predeceased by his daughter Debbie, son John, daughter-in-law Gisele, and granddaughter Jennifer.
