Alexander Brown of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the age of 85 years.

 

Alex was born and lived his entire life in Calgary. He was a respected tradesman in Plumbers Union #496, working many years in the field on various gas plants, where he rose to the position of Superintendent. Alex will be remembered for his gentle, quiet nature and sense of humour.

 

Alex is survived by his sister Elnora McIlvena, brothers, Douglas and Robert (Joy); special niece Noreen (John) Buckley and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Kate (nee Cook); his siblings, Dolores (Robert Fletcher), and Marjory (Killian Ibach); his sister-in-law Susan Brown and brother-in-law William McIlvena.
