Condolences
Condolences to Ted and family. Val was a wonderful combination of professionalism and fun, one of the best people memories from Colt Engineering. My turn for the next job reference.
Dear Ted, Dustin, Chrystal, the grandsons and Val's sisters and families:
Yesterday Brian and I went through the track and field photos of Val and reminisced about her track career when Brian coached her in Brandon. This is what formed a lasting friendship even though we didn't physically see one another over these many years we could pick up where we left off like it was just yesterday. Val's illness was a shock and no words can express our feelings of her passing. Just know we cared and Val will hold a place in our memories as she was a special person to have known.
Coach says: rest in peace Val.

Our deepest condolences to Val`s family. This is truly sad news. Although we haven`t seen her in many years, Val and I were running mates at the Wheat City Track Club in Brandon. I remember her love of running but also her love of laughter. Our thoughts are with the family - may all your special memories bring comfort to you in this time of sadness.

I'm so sorry to hear of Val's passing. I worked with her at Colt Engineering. She was a lovely person. My deepest sympathy to her family.
Val’s obituary in the Calgary Herald today hit me hard.
Val and I worked together in the Oil and Gas Industry over the years. Her big smile, great work ethic, and caring personality ..made me honoured that she chose me to be her friend ...we were like Mutt and Jeff..tall and short chuckle. She made a big difference in everything she did..making it work...what an Amazing Lady!
My heart goes out to Ted and Family ..Val will always be in our memories!
Sincerely
Faye Key
